Dr. Michael Barry bought the properties, located at 4530 E. Muirwood Dr. in Phoenix and 3303 E. Baseline Rd. in Gilbert, for more than $2 million. Marc Pierce of Phoenix-based Lee & Associates Arizona, who negotiated both deals, said Barry plans to relocate his surgical practice to the Gilbert location in a complex known as the Executive Villas at Dana Point. Pierce said Barry bought two suites, totaling, 8,200 sf. He paid close to $1.6 million under his limited liability corporation, Barry Investments. Approximately half of that space will be available for lease.

Barry also purchased a 2,085-sf office condo in Phoenix at Foothills Medical and Professional Plaza, adjacent to a medical facility. The acquisition was done solely for investment purposes. That property, bought by Barry-owned Ariel Acquisitions, sold for $427,424.

Craig Wilett of Utaz Development represented the seller, Foothills MP Development LC in the Phoenix deal and Dana Point Development LLC in the Gilbert transaction.
