According to the terms of the $1.2-million transaction, Drake Beam Morin will occupy 5,854 sf at 4445 Eastgate Mall. The company, which currently has more than 200 offices in 47 countries, plans to move into its newly leased space in December of this year. Founded in 1967, Drake Beam Morin is a provider of strategic human resource solutions, offering services in career transition, retention, selection and development.
Buck Ramsey of Cushman and Wakefield acted on behalf of Drake Beam Morin. The lessor, Sunroad Corporate Centre LLC, was represented by Dan Runyon, Eric Vann and Mark Wayne of Burnham Real Estate Services Oncor International.
The San Diego office market has seen an increase in activity in recent weeks, with deals including the $6.9-million sale of a 49,284-sf complex in Scripps Park and two lease transactions totaling 22,729 sf at Four Points Business Park.
