The 11,000-sf facility boasts tenants including Keybank, Bibo Coffee, Himitsu Japanese Restaurant, Georgio's Subs, Snoqualmie Valley Floris and Gifts, Andre's Cleaners, Mail Boxes Etc. and Chiropractic Care at the Ridge.
Construction has begun on the second building, which, according to the Snoqualmie Ridge Web site, has leases signed with a hair salon and beauty supply, nail salon, beer and wine shop, a family dentist, and a physical therapy office.
Other retail buildings, a gas station and a grocery store are in the works for the 10-acre retail plaza.
The Snoqualmie Ridge planned community is situated in the City of Snoqualmie and is set against the backdrop of the Cascade Mountain Range. In addition to the 10-acre retail plaza, the community includes an 89-acre business park and eventually up to 2,000 homes, condos and apartments.
About 900 families now live in the area, which features more than 40% of land dedicated to natural open space and hosts the Pacific Northwest's only Jack Nicklaus-designed Tournament Players Club Golf Course.
Weyerhauser began its efforts to develop Snoqualmie Ridge in 1986, but construction began years later, after Weyerhaeuser fought citizen lawsuits and modified the project's scope.
