La Mesa RV Center Inc., headquartered in La Mesa, CA, bought the acreage after the previous owner, RV World Productions and Meo Mesa I LLC, filed bankruptcy, Jeff Hayes, with NAI Horizon, tells GlobeSt.com. The purchase price also included a 34,225-sf building with service bays.

La Mesa operated a recreational vehicle sales and service center on the property under its corporate name for about 18 months prior to the sale. Hayes said the company used that leasing period to arrange financing through First Union of California and the Business Development Finance Corp.

Well known to campers and RV enthusiasts for its large stock of camping trailers, recreational vehicle accessories and specialized repair service, the property has prime frontage along both Interstate 60 and Mesa Drive, Hayes says.
