"Fort Myers is very attractive to real estate investors due to the area's rapidly growing and affluent customer base," says Adam L. Feinstein, director of the financial services division of Cushman & Wakefield and the broker who represented Lefmark. "College Parkway Center is located at the south end of Fort Myers, where all the new growth is occurring."
The center, which has a 95% gross leasing area, opened in 1970 but was redeveloped in 2000. The largest tenant there is Office Depot, with a long-term lease for 25,600 sf. Other tenants include Stonewood Tavern, Anthony's Fashions, Petland, Blue Pepper Gourmet Market, Mattress Giant, First Watch Restaurant and Guardian Savings Bank. A 7-Eleven is under construction.
