The new member firms, all located in the Midwest, are Summit Realty Group in Indianapolis, Cincinnati Commercial Realty in Cincinnati, Kessinger Hunter in Kansas City, MO and Northstar Partners in Minneapolis. Cushman will maintain ownership of its Asset Services offices at Cushman & Wakefield of Minnesota while the brokerage end will migrate to Northstar. Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Kansas City are virgin territory for the firm.

All four companies were chosen to grow C&W's office and industrial base, Mosler said at today's press conference announcing the alliances, and, like the group's six other members, will be "wholly integrated members of the firm." While C&W Alliance firms are not owned by Cushman, they enjoy full access to the C&W platform.

"The expansion of the Alliance program is based on the initial success of the Alliance in the Southeast," noted Mosler. "And it's in line with our goal of tapping the best firms in strategic markets to join the C&W service platform."

"The Alliance initiative is aimed at reliably providing our clients with C&W's total real estate solutions capabilities in key markets on a national scale, while enabling us to have direct access to these strategic markets through the best local real estate firms, who also benefit from our multiple services," Mashore added. He also stated that while C&W has never set its sites on a vast alliance network, additional firms in Texas and a few Western markets will be added to the group.
