Pivotal Group Taps Polen for Executive VP's Role

PHOENIX-Karl Polen has stepped into the executive role for the Pivotal Group. Polen, a member of the Governor's Water Management Commission, exits the CFO's job for Robson Communities with the shift.

PHOENIX-Karl Polen, the former CFO of Robson Communities, is the new executive vice president of Phoenix-based Pivotal Group. Polen spent 15 years with Robson Communities, the Sun Lakes-based developer of active adult communities.

Along with his financial expertise, Polen has experience in dealing with master-planned communities, commercial real estate and pension fund boards, said Francis Najafi, CEO for the Pivotal Group. Najafi said Polen’s understanding of fiduciary responsibility, a matter of the utmost importance to Pivotal Group, also is outstanding.
