AHAF decided to vacate its former home on Shady Grove Road in Rockville, MD in an effort to accommodate the organization's growth. "The scope of our work as a non profit dedicated to age-related and degenerative disease research and education continues to increase dramatically as the US population ages," AHAF executive director Janet Michaels says. "The design and layout of our new office building enables us to expand our work on behalf of older Americans."

Designed by Banta Campbell Architects, the new two-story brick structure includes a conference room, boardroom, full kitchen and outdoor parking.
