Manekin Completes Foundation's 33,000-SF HQ

CLARKSBURG, MD-American Health Assistance Foundation gets a new corporate headquarters with the completion of its 33,000-sf building on 22512 Gateway Center Drive at the Gateway 270 Office Park in Montgomery County. Manekin LLC was the project developer on what a company spokesperson tells GlobeSt.com was a $3.5-million project.

AHAF decided to vacate its former home on Shady Grove Road in Rockville, MD in an effort to accommodate the organization’s growth. “The scope of our work as a non profit dedicated to age-related and degenerative disease research and education continues to increase dramatically as the US population ages,” AHAF executive director Janet Michaels says. “The design and layout of our new office building enables us to expand our work on behalf of older Americans.”
