The Boston Market Corp. is the seller of the building, which has been historically used as a fast-food facility. The seller was seeking $808,000.

Kristen Barker of Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co.'s Houston team represented the seller while Wayne Bridgeford of Grubb & Ellis Co.'s Houston office brokered the buyer's side of the transaction. He tells GlobeSt.com that he had several buyers interested in working out a deal, but nothing was ever finalized. Then, Roman Dental asked him to negotiate a purchase.

Roman Dental currently has offices at 15705 S. Dairy Ashford Rd. near Briar Forest Drive. The retrofitting is under way, with move-in planned for Jan. 15, according to Bridgeford. The acquired property is located near Memorial's intersection with Dairy Ashford Road.
