Binswanger, based in Memphis, took 3,200 sf of commercial space for a retail and service location at the intersection of Interstate 10 and De Zavala Road. Leah Dieb Collins of Dallas-based Mohr Properties represented Binswanger Glass. Jeff Brown of Transwestern Commercial Services' San Antonio office represented the building owner, Transwestern Heights LP.

Binswanger Glass sells and installs residential, commercial and automotive glass. It has more than 30 stores in Texas and 150 in 22 states. Binswanger Glass is the retail division of VVP America, also based in Memphis.

San Antonio's northwest submarket, the city's biggest for retail with 8.9 million sf, has a 90% occupancy rate. Citywide retail occupancy was 85% at midyear, according to the Dallas-based Weitzman Group's San Antonio research team.
