Meanwhile, the Girl Scouts of DuPage County have taken 14,819 sf in the newly-opened Lisle Business Center in that neighboring suburb. The Girl Scouts moved from Naperville.
Platinum Mortgage Co. signed a five-year lease for 4,200 sf at $14.69 per sf, making the deal worth $308,500 over the term. Meanwhile, Rocco Salviola & Associates also signed a five-year deal for 3,214 sf at $14.32 per sf, which will add up to $230,150 over the term.
Both deals involved brokers from Irvine, CA-based Sperry Van Ness, a national commercial real estate firm now making its presence known in the Chicago market. Ray Zabielski, CCIM, RECS and Michael Piscoran, SIOR, represented One Brookdale Gateway Corp. in both deals. Another Sperry Van Ness broker, Al Lindeman, represented Platinum Mortgage Co.
CB Richard Ellis senior vice president Jeff Mann represented Downers Grove, IL-based Pritchett Realty Corp., owner of the 121,000-sf Lisle Business Center. Bryan Barus of Suburban Real Estate Services, Inc. represented the Girl Scouts of DuPage County.
