Rug Retailer Signs 12,000 SF Lease in Scarsdale

SCARSDALE, NY-Safavieh Rugs & Home has entered the Westchester County retail market with a new 12,000-sf store near Lord & Taylor in the Shoppes at Eastchester complex on Route 22.

SCARSDALE, NY-In a deal reported by Hartsdale broker Aries Deitch & Endelson, Inc., Safavieh Rugs & Home has leased 12,000 sf of retail space at The Shoppes at Eastchester complex, located at 777 White Plains R. (Route 22) here.

William B. Hesse, president of Aries Deitch & Endelson, represented Safavieh Rugs & Home, a rug importer and furniture retailer, in the transaction. Willing Biddle, III and Linda Lacey of Urstadt Biddle Properties of Greenwich, CT. coordinated lease negotiations for the property owner.

With the recent opening of its new Scarsdale showroom, its first location in Westchester County, Safavieh now has 12 store locations in Manhattan, New Jersey, Long Island and Connecticut.
