The Norcross, GA-based distributor of cheeses, chorizo and other "Made in Mexico" products inked a lease for 19,073 sf at 4300 Windfern Dr. near Clay and Gessner roads. Brad Berry of Vantage Cos.' Houston division tells GlobeSt.com that Vantage goes the extra mile to prepare warehouse space with white painted walls and sealed floors, big pluses for a food distributor. Ole Mexican Foods outfitted the space with a cooler. The distributor might use the space in the future to manufacture some food products, he adds.
Ole Mexican Foods' main distribution sites are its Georgia headquarters as well as locations in North Carolina and Florida. Ross Matthews of the Houston office of Dallas' Trammell Crow Co. represented the tenant. Fairbanks Distribution Center is a two-year-old, 103,040-sf warehouse/distribution building.
