Opus Plans Spec Industrial Projects Totaling 900,000 SF

CHINO, CA-Opus South will consist of 10 buildings, all but one of which will range in size from 16,000 sf to 41,000 sf. Opus North will consist of two large buildings, one 230,000 sf and one 270,000 sf.

CHINO, CA-Developer Opus West will build two industrial projects here totaling about 900,000 sf of speculative space for sale or lease on two 20-acre parcels about five miles apart.

Paul Marshall, a senior vice president at Opus, tells GlobeSt.com that the projects will be called Opus North Chino and Opus South Chino and will be built on recently acquired land in the city. Opus North will be at the corner of Mountain and Edison avenues, while Opus South Chino will be at Euclid and Kimball avenues.

Marshall tells GlobeSt.com that Opus North Chino will be 411,000 sf in 10 buildings in two phases. Nine of the buildings, ranging in size from 16,000 to 41,000 sf, will be designed for light manufacturing, assembly and warehousing. An additional building is planned for 180,000 sf of distribution space.
