"We are looking at numerous sites throughout South Florida," Randy Sieminski, director of media relations for the Coral Springs-based National Hockey League team, says. "We're always looking for opportunities to help grow hockey and skating in South Florida."

Sieminski says the facilities would be similar to Incredible Ice, the Florida Panthers' 75,000 sf practice arena, ice skating and amusement facility in Coral Springs. This facility has two ice pads, game rooms, rooms for birthday parties, Breakaway Bar & Grill restaurant, a store that sells hockey and Panther merchandise and Incredible Fitness, 3,000 sf of cardiovascular and weight training equipment and an aerobics/dance studio.

Incredible Ice, the official home of the Florida Panthers, also offers figure skating lessons for all ages and adult and youth ice hockey programs. The Florida Panthers wants to make the new facilities family destinations, Sieminski says.
