The buyer, Marcus/Adams Industrial Investments, has shelled out more than $2.1 million for the building, which it has acquired for investment purposes. The new owner is renovating the facility, which stands on an 81,892-sf parcel at 166 Aviador St. It is currently available for lease through NAI Capital Commercial, the full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm with 12 offices in the NAI affiliate for Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Kern counties.
Mike Tharp, Fred Ferro and Eric Behlke of NAI Capital Commercial acted on behalf of both Santa Barbara-based Luria and Marcus/Adams Industrial Investments of Ventura in the recent transaction. Headed up by Craig Marcus and his partner, David Adams, Marcus/Adams Industrial Investments owns, operates and invests in industrial properties that are scattered throughout both Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
