Rich Scardina, senior vice president of operations for the Birmingham, AL-based pharmaceutical firm, said Caremark selected Phoenix for its latest location based on the area's geographical convenience and infrastructure along with its superior labor force and technological talent. "Our business requires a high-quality workforce, with exceptional people to run our pharmacies," Scardina in a press release.
