The property was previously occupied by Toys R Us and is vacant. The owner, locally based Equity Industrial Properties, is renovating and updating the space for Eckerd's move-in, planned for this November.

The facility has more than 120 loading docks and 30-foot ceilings. It is served by the PennJersey rail lines, which share an interchange with CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern Corp. at Conrail's Morrisville, PA rail yard.

Eckerd is among the largest drug store chains in the country and operates more than 1,700 stores in about 14 states.

Representatives of the Wayne, PA office of Los Angeles-based CB Richard Ellis represented Eckerd in the transaction.
