Eckerd Inks $10M Lease on Bucks County Warehouse

PHILADELPHIA-The Largo, FL-based drug store chain leases a 415,000-sf, single-story building at Penn Warner Industrial Park in Fairless Hill, PA previously occupied by Toys R Us. Owner Equity Industrial Properties is retrofitting the space for Eckerd's November move-in.

PHILADELPHIA-Largo, FL-based Eckerd Drug Corp. has leased a single-story, 415,000-sf warehouse facility at Geoffrey Road in the Penn Warner Industrial Park in Fairless Hill, PA in Bucks County. Terms are undisclosed, but local area brokers tell GlobeSt the lease is long term and carries an aggregate value in excess of $10 million.

The property was previously occupied by Toys R Us and is vacant. The owner, locally based Equity Industrial Properties, is renovating and updating the space for Eckerd’s move-in, planned for this November.

The facility has more than 120 loading docks and 30-foot ceilings. It is served by the PennJersey rail lines, which share an interchange with CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern Corp. at Conrail’s Morrisville, PA rail yard.
