The building at 5303 Distribution Dr. must be licensed to operate by the US Food and Drug Administration. That should come in 2003. Phoenix-based Capstone Constructors Corp. is the general contractor for the $2.6-million facility, a DPT contact tells GlobeSt.com.
Connetics, a publicly traded company based in Palo Alto, CA, said the facility will increase capacity and quality of its manufacturing operations. San Antonio-based DPT Labs will manage the plant, which adds aerosol and foam packaging to the services it can offer.
Connetics develops, makes and sells dermatology products including Olux and Luxiq foams, which treat scalp inflammations. Privately held DPT develops, manufactures, packages and distributes health-care products. The company owns an operates another manufacturing plant in San Antonio and one in Lakewood, NJ.
