"We don't really have a women's organization that would foster relationships and networking concentrated on the real estate industry (in Austin)," says Jinny Hines, a broker with CB Richard Ellis Inc. in Austin. She tells GlobeSt.com that the members also will benefit from the organization's national scope. "You can have business opportunities with other women across the country and Canada," she says. The CREW Network has more than 40 chapters.
The group has already elected officers and a board of directors. It will submit an application to the national CREW organization in January 2003, one of the two times a year applications are accepted.
