Leasing at 123 N. Wacker Dr. Gets Busy

CHICAGO-Prentiss Properties' Andrea Saewitz handles negotiations for six deals involving 34,315 sf at the Dallas-based company's West Loop asset, its largest in its Chicago portfolio. Occupancy is now above 70%.

CHICAGO-Prentiss Properties’ 123 N. Wacker Dr. has reached 70% occupancy with six new leases totaling 34,315 sf. Leasing at the 537,000-sf West Loop building has gone slower than first expected despite a $1.7-million capital improvement program and a location a short walk from Metra’s two busiest commuter rail terminals.

However, the recent flurry of leases is double the amount of space the Dallas-based company leased in the second quarter. Prentiss Properties’ Andrea Saewitz handled negotiations for her company.

The largest deal was a 12,926-sf lease with career transition and organizationalconsulting firm Right Management Consultants, which is taking space on the 22nd floor. Tony Karmin and Kyle Kamin of Insignia/ESG represented Right Management Consultants.
