The contract has four renewal options. Realty Rates president Robert Watts wouldn't disclose the value or terms of the contract, even though it would become public information eventually.

"As New York City's sole source supplier of such information, Realty Rates.com will provide a comprehensive package of data resources," Watts says in a prepared statement.

The company's package comprises "24/7 access to data involving 54 individual commercial and industrial property types and features dual versions of RealtyRates.com's quarterly Investor, Developer and Market Surveys, together with special reports, software and related resources," Watt says.
