Minter has 20 years of experience in real estate investment and capital markets, most recently as managing director of Zurich, New York, and London-based Credit Suisse First Boston's real estate investment sales group.

Prior to that, he held posts with Chicago-based Jones Lang LaSalle and New York-based Cushman & Wakefield. He is a frequent speaker at industry meetings, including those hosted by the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers, Urban Land Institute, Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate, and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts.

In a printed statement, Tom Bell, Cousins' president and chief executive officer, cited Minter's "extensive network among domestic, international, institutional and private real estate investors" as providing a "perspective that will enhance our ongoing investment efforts as well as our ability to capture value from our existing portfolio."
