The 16,000-sf home is located at #6 Harborage Isle Drive in Fort Lauderdale's exclusive Harborage Island neighborhood. Terry Taylor, president of Fort Lauderdale-based Automotive Management Services, and his wife, Cynthia, purchased the home.
Tutor had a healthy return on the property. He bought the home in February 2001 out of receivership for $7.2 million. Michael and Lindy Gause previously owned the home, according to Miami-Dade County real estate records.
Tutor is also chairman of public works contractor Tutor-Saliba Corp. in Sylmar, CA. Engineering News-Record has ranked the firm fourth largest in transportation construction project.
Tim Elmes of Miami Beach-based Wimbish-Riteway Realtors represented the seller.
