Stone was the president of Minefill Services Inc., a technical services and mine consulting company. He has also worked for Sitka Corp. and Klohn Leonoff in both senior staff and senior engineering capacities.
Stone, who holds a geological engineering degree along with a PhD and an MBA in civil engineering, has more than 17 years' experience with both open pit and underground metal mines at sites around the world. The author of more than 10 international feasibility studies, Stone is a licensed engineer in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wisconsin, as well as the Canadian province of Ontario and the Yukon Territory. He is also a member of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration, the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.
