Downtown Loft Project Moving Ahead

AUSTIN-CLB Partners ends a six-month delay to start a 14-story mixed-use project at the corner of Fifth and West streets in the CBD. The project is designed with 62 flats and 20 two-story loft homes plus street-level retail.

AUSTIN-Work has begun the Austin City Lofts, a 14-story residential project in the CBD. A formal ground-breaking is set for Oct. 3, about six months later than previously planned.

CLB Partners Ltd. of Dallas is the project’s developer. The plan calls for 62 flats and 20 two-story loft homes. The bottom four stories are devoted to parking and retail. The units will range in size from 1,100 sf to 2,800 sf. Prices range from just under $300,000 to more than $2 million.
