The firm has two locations in Galveston and one at Traders Village along North Eldridge, also in northwest Houston. The tenant's representative, Shawn Ackerman of the Houston office of Henry S. Miller Commercial, said the furniture retailer is reducing its presence at Traders Village, a large flea market-type venue, for a larger traditional storefront.
Hearthstone Corners is anchored by Kroger and has a national tenant roster with such notables as SteinMart, Big Lots, Payless Shoe Source, Quiznos, CC's Pizza and Planet Smoothie. Ackerman says the tenants took over the longtime home of Fashion Bug, an inline spot that abuts the Kroger grocery store. The asking rate at the 22-year-old center is $1.25 per sf. Kay Walker of New Plan Excel represented the property owner.
