Rick Foss with Grubb & Ellis Inc.'s industrial advisory group, which negotiated the deal for building owner Western Distribution Centers, said the company will continue to occupy its current space at 2223-2225 E. Magnolia St. in addition to its new 2229 E. Magnolia St. location.
"They've been very successful and are growing and didn't want to be far from their current location," Foss said. "This gives them the ability to conveniently access their data."The company's expanded location in the 40,164-sf, dock-high distribution building gives easy access to Sky Harbor Airport along with Interstates 202, 101 and 10, Foss noted.The class B industrial space was leased for 39 cents per sf triple net with increases over the term of the lease.
Foss negotiated the deal along with senior vice president Pete Klees, also with Grubb & Ellis' industrial group. Pat Harlan of Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona Inc. represented the tenant. The building is managed by Westcor Industrial Properties.
