Kim McBee, spokeswoman for the Greenwood Village, CO-based restaurant chain said Phoenix's phenomenal population growth has spurred the eatery to open establishments in Chandler, Prescott and Peoria during September. "It's a growing market that has done very well for us," she said, adding that the new locations take the Arizona total to eight.Along with the three Red Robin's opened this month, there also are restaurants in Mesa and Scottsdale along with franchises in Tempe, Tucson and Lake Havasu.

McBee said there are no set plans to open additional restaurants in the Valley anytime soon but the chain is scouting other locations for its eateries. "We're going to continue to grow in that market," she said.
