SAN ANTONIO-Bank One this week will open three freestanding branch banks, totaling nearly 10,000 sf, in San Antonio. The branches replace facilities that Bank One operated in Albertsons grocery stores, all of which closed earlier this year in the grocer’s market exit.

The new Bank One branches are Northwoods, a 2,800-sf building at 1734 N. Loop 1604 East in the north central submarket; Alamo Heights, 4,000 sf at 5900 N. Broadway in the central submarket; and Pat Booker, 2800 sf at 2921 Pat Booker in the northeast submarket. With the openings, Bank One has 14 freestanding banking centers in San Antonio.
