"The locations that we are marketing include established strip centers and free-standing buildings of between 8,000 sf to 12,000 sf," says Emilio Amendola, principal of DJM. "The leases available include properties in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee."

Bonus Stores, a subsidiary of the Reykjavik, Iceland-based Baugur Group, is the merged company of Bill's Dollar Stores, Bonus Dollar Stores and Bonus Supercenter discount chains.

Baugur acquired Bill's Dollar Stores when the retailer filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2001.

Melville-based DJM specializes in assisting retailers in the disposition of unwanted location. Last year, more than 28 firms hired DJM to dispose of 2,200 properties exceeding 50 million sf.
