Coy Davidson of the Houston office of Colliers International tells GlobeSt.com that the new tenant is upping the bed count to 30 from 20 at the 8,400-sf former inpatient psychiatric facility. The 13-year-old building had about 2,000 sf of office space, but the plan is to cut into that area so beds can be added.

Davidson represented the building owner, Dempsey Family LP. The Watershed Treatment Programs handled its side of the talks. Davidson says the tenant's lease has started, but move-in is still a few weeks away due to the ongoing renovations.

Across town in the Galleria, Dr. Gene DiVita leased 1,573 sf of office space at 520 Post Oak Blvd. Randy Mason of the Houston office of Colliers International represented the tenant. The building owner, PFP 520 Post Oak Inc. was represented by Louis Rosenthal of the Houston office of Jones, Lang, LaSalle.
