City Furniture's Sawgrass Center won in the Commercial Construction, $15 million to $30 million category. This 660,000-sf, Tamarac, FL, corporate headquarters and distribution center encompasses 15 acres under one roof.

The Stiles Construction design-build project is City Furniture's biggest project and the 19th project with Stiles Construction. Keith Koenig is the center's owner. The architect was Architecture 6400, a division, along with Stiles Construction, of Stiles Corp.

Rick Case Honda, a 60,000-sf dealership and service center in Davie, FL, also got Stiles Construction an Excellence in Construction Award, this time in the Commercial Construction, $5 million to $15 million category. Rick Case owns the dealership. Stiles Construction was the general contractor. Winningham, Bundy & Tice provided the design.

Stiles also won a Platinum Award for safety. These and other chapter award winners will advance to the ABC National Excellence in Construction Awards, to be held at the 2003 national convention in San Diego.
