Danaher Corp's Pacific Scientific Division purchased Superior Electric several years ago and has since relocated some of Superior Electric product lines to other company locations, according to Michael Treacy, vice president with Binswanger/CBB's Philadelphia office. Pacific Scientific, a 76-year-old, worldwide company, produces technical products that focus on motion control hardware and software. The company services the semiconductor, medical equipment, robotics, fitness, packaging, specialty automation and related industries.

Binswanger/CBB represented Danaher Corp.'s PacSci Motion Control Inc. subsidiary in the sale of the modern, one-story 416,599-sf industrial building. The property is located at 383 Middle St. and is situated on 68 acres of land that is within a few miles of I-84. Danaher Corp. is headquartered in Washington, D.C.

The buyer, We 383 Middle Street, LLC, is a private investment company that specializes in the acquisition, redevelopment and repositioning of commercial and industrial properties.

Superior Electric will remain in less than 100,000 sf of space at the Bristol property. In addition, World Fulfillment Corp. currently occupies approximately 100,000 sf at the 383 Middle St. complex. Treacy adds that his firm is currently in negotiations with several prospective tenants, which could lease the remaining vacant space at the property.
