Ch. 55's $40M Office Tower Year Behind Schedule

ORLANDO-Religious television entrepreneur Claud Bowers is asking his followers to help pay for the planned 18-story, 200,000-sf, 293-foot-high Majesty Building that would be the tallest edifice in Seminole County, seven miles from Downtown Orlando.

ORLANDO-Determined not to take on debt to build his visionary 18-story, 200,000-sf, 293-foot-high Majesty Office Building at Cranes Roost Park in suburban Altamonte Springs, FL, religious television entrepreneur Claud Bowers is appealing, instead, to his followers to help pay for the $40 million venture, a source close to the deal tells GlobeSt.com.

Majesty was originally scheduled for completion in May of this year at an estimated development cost of $200 per sf. The building’s steel skirt is at the 14-story level with no interior construction under way.

The highly visible project off Interstate 4 has been planned for the past eight years. When completed, the tower would be the tallest edifice in Seminole County, seven miles from Downtown Orlando.
