Brett Greenberg, director of leasing for Equity Office's New York Region, represented ownership in the transaction. Mark Boisi and Peter Occi of Colliers ABR Inc., represented Evercore Partners in the transaction. While details of the transactions have not been released, recently published asking rents in the 568,060-sf building are $79 per sf.

"This renewal at Park Avenue Tower reflects our commitment to providing flexible lease terms and building long-term relationships with our customers," says Greenberg.

Lance Marvin, CFO for Evercore Partners adds, "This transaction allowed us to renew for a short period of time and acquire additional options to renew and lease additional space in the building."

Built in 1986, Park Avenue Tower is located mid-block between 55th and 56th streets. Other tenants in the building include Bloomberg LP, Paul Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, Oak Hill Partners and AEA Investors.
