The firm has signed for 17,903 sf or the first floor of the 53,000-sf Country Club Plaza at 1701 Legacy Dr., a class A property positioned on the 10th fairway of Stonebriar Country Club. Finish-out begins next week. Occupancy is set for Dec. 1, Steve Shrum, vice president of Stream Realty Partners in Dallas, tells GlobeSt.com.

Fieldstone Mortgage's Plano office at 2901 N. Dallas Parkway totals about 9,000 sf. Shrum said the search for a new office got under way a few months ago, zeroing in on the Legacy Park area. The eight-month-old Country Club Plaza's location next to a Westin hotel and the first-floor availability were good starting points, but the Frisco incentives sewed up the deal, he said.

Of late, Frisco has been particularly aggressive with its incentive packages, often being criticized for such tactics as kicking in moving money to get companies inside the city limits. Its neighbors and the competing brokers are starting to openly complain about the lucrative terms that the city's been putting on the table.
