Green to Succeed Marlantes as Rockefeller Group CEO

NEW YORK CITY-Jonathan D. Green has been named president and CEO of Rockefeller Group International Inc., parent company of Cushman & Wakefield. Green, a 22-year veteran of the firm, succeeds Lorian L. Marlantes, who died at his home Sept. 28. Marlantes had been CEO of the Rockefeller Group since July 1, 1995.

“I am pleased to announce that the spirit Mr. Marlantes brought to his work at the Rockefeller Group will be continued by Jon Green,” says Eiji Tan, chairman of The Rockefeller Group. “This succession was both planned and is appropriate given Jon’s vast experience in commercial real estate as well as his long tenure with RGI. He served as a close partner with Mr. Marlantes in directing RGI’s growth these past few years and he enjoys the complete support of the Board of Directors and shareholder of RGI.”
