As part of the agreement, Westminster Presbyterian Church will deed back a 35,000-sf piece of the property if Moyer is successful in slicing it off for an as yet undetermined commercial development.

TMT stands for Tom Moyer Theaters, a regional chain that TMT sold to Regal Cinemas in 1988 for upward of $150 million. The four-screen Cascade Cinemas, which was not part of the deal, closed in 1999 and has remained vacant since that time.

The church will use the theater building as a church, with the largest of the rooms becoming the sanctuary and the rest being utilized for other church activities. When ready for occupancy sometime next year, the church will relocate from leased space on N.E. Andresen Road.
