Half of the retail space is in the Southeast, with 10, ranging from 1,278 sf to 5,964 sf, in Georgia and surrounding states, and another six in Florida. Bidding for all of the vacated Golf America retail spaces closes Nov. 8.

Rent for the vacated 2,788-sf store at Lenox Square in Atlanta is $70 per sf through Dec. 31, 2004. The lease for a 5,000-sf space at Discover Mills Mall in Lawrenceville, GA is $20 per sf for the remainder of this year. It then increases to $24 per sf through Dec. 31, 2006.

Four of the locations are in North Carolina. Rent for 1,500 sf at South Park Mall in Charlotte is $45 per sf through Dec. 31, 2003. A 5,964-sf space at Concord Mills Mall in Concord, NC carries a rental rate of $23 per sf through Dec. 31, 2004.

Streets at Southpoint in Durham, NC has a 2,026-sf space with a rental rate of $41 per sf through Feb. 28, 2005. Rental rate for a 1,800-sf space at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh is $50 per sf through Dec. 31, 2008.

The smallest space in the group is at Wolfchase Galleria in Memphis, where the rental rate for 1,278 sf is $43 per sf through Dec. 31, 2008. Rental rate for the 4,009-sf store at Opry Mills Mall in Nashville is $23.50 per sf through Dec. 31, 2005.

The 1,848-sf space at Haywood Mall in Greenville, SC has a rental rate of $42 per sf through Dec. 31, 2003. The rate for 2,044 sf in Riverchase Galleria in Birmingham, AL is $50 per sf through Dec. 31, 2003.

Some leases are for longer terms than indicated here, with graduating increases in rental rates for the remainder of the terms. All of the leases are for sale at a bankruptcy auction with the proceeds going to Golf America creditors. DJM is the court-appointed real estate consultant.
