In February 2001, the company moved into 7,458 sf in a sublease deal with CHI Energy. The firm is now adding 3,149 sf of direct space with building owner, Crescent Real Estate Equities of Fort Worth. When the sublease ends, it rolls over into an expanded direct lease for the duration of the term. A Crescent spokesman was unable to give specifics on the timeframe.

Bill Romane of the Houston office of NAI Partners Commercial represented the tenant, who imposed its rights of a confidentiality clause to keep a lid on the terms. Knowledge Reservoir deals in geophysics, geology, reservoir characterization and management, geo-statistics, hydrocarbon transport, processing and distribution, knowledge management and learning consulting services.

Crescent Real Estate Funding VII LP is the building owner of record for the 399,772-sf 1800 W. Loop South. Crescent's in-house broker Bill Schneidau negotiated the direct deal.
