PHILADELPHIA-The Pincus Brothers-Maxwell industrial building at the corner of Fourth and Race streets, which overlooks Independence Mall from Philadelphia’s Old City neighborhood, is for sale for an undisclosed asking price. The 142,000-sf building is the former manufacturing headquarters of men’s clothing manufacturer, Pincus Brothers Inc.

In 2001, it was vacated, a victim of the garment industry’s shift to overseas production.

The masonry and concrete block facility was built in 1946 and expanded in 1964. It includes 12,000 sf of office space, a showroom, and three dock-high loading doors. The office area is air-conditioned and the building has a full wet sprinkler system.
