MIAMI-The foundation for Trump Palace, the first residence tower in the three-phase, $600 million Trump Grande Ocean Resort and Residences planned for Sunny Isles Beach, FL, is scheduled to be poured Oct. 11. It will be the largest foundation pouring in Florida’s history, according to Trump’s marketing staff.

More than 8.8 million pounds of cement, 13.8 million pounds of sand, 17.3 million pounds of rock and 352,000 gallons of water will pound the ground for 24 hours starting at midnight that day.

The condominium tower is developer Donald Trump and partners Michael and Gil Dezer’s first South Florida resort. The 55-story Trump Palace will consist of 267 residences.
