Burlington Coat Factory Leases 130,000 SF

PHILADELPHIA-The discount apparel retailer moves into the former JC Penney location adjacent to Galleria II on Market Street in Center City. It follows a 30,000-sf Old Navy lease, which took Galleria II to 85% occupancy.

PHILADELPHIA-Burlington Coat Factory signs a long-term lease for the 130,000-sf former retail space occupied by JC Penney adjacent Galleria II on Market Street. Terms of the lease are undisclosed.

This lease fulfills the city council’s efforts to revitalize the Gallery area on Market St. It follows last September’s lease agreement for 30,000 sf in Galleria II, which took occupancy there to 85%.
