"One reason Motorola selected Voit as the developer was because of our relationships with the City of Mesa," Voit's Kimberly Almquist tells GlobeSt.com. That relationship helped the builder quickly move through the city's permitting process on the build-to-suit construction, finishing the 6,000-sf banking facility at East Superstition Springs Boulevard in near record time.
The Southwest-style building, located in Superstition Springs Business and Office Park, a mixed-use, master-planned community, was the first bank built by Voit in Arizona, Almquist said. In addition to the Voit's solid relationship with Mesa, Almquist said Motorola selected the firm for its expertise in developing the largest business and office park in that city. That development consisted of a 54,000-sf class A Westwind Terrace office building and 73,000 sf in three multi-tenant buildings and a 63,000-sf back office building, known as Clearview.
