Jewkes, a 20-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, has been brought on board as the firm's director of corporate development. In this capacity, he will focus on business development in Southern California, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Denver. He has joined Burnham from his previous post at Grubb & Ellis Co. affiliate Wallace Associates, where he served as president and CEO for nine years.
Gleason comes to Burnham from his position as senior executive with Fairfield Properties, where he has spent much of his career. With nearly three decades of experience in apartment management, Gleason will serve as Burnham's managing director of multifamily services. His new duties will involve managing and expanding Burnham's multifamily operation, which currently oversees 1,500 units and is expected to expand to 5,000 units over the next three years.
Munson has been hired as senior vice president and manager of Burnham's Carlsbad office, a role that will entail recruiting, training, business development and strategic planning. His previous career experience includes key management positions at CB Richard Ellis, Trammell Crow Co. and most recently, Grubb & Ellis.
