Myrick says the new location will allow the pharmaceutical benefit management firm to expand its distribution center operations and hire new pharmacists, technicians and warehouse workers.

The building is owned by Tempe Marketplace Commerce Associates.

The lease of the 7909 S. Hardy Dr. building is the company's third venture in the Tempe market. The firm currently has two other facilities in Arizona, a 75,000-sf warehouse and a 1-million-sf call center, both in Tempe.

The current site appealed to the firm, Myrick says, not only because of its nearby amenities, but because adjacent acreage would allow for future expansion.

Express Scripts Inc. was represented in the transaction by Myrick and Mike Haenel, with Grubb & Ellis' industrial advisory division, along with Larry Downey of Cushman & Wakefield. Rick Lee and Stein Koss with Lee and Associates represented the building owners.
