"It fit them like a glove," Peter Klees of Grubb & Ellis Co.'s Phoenix office tells GlobeSt.com, referring to the stand-alone building at 1135 W. Geneva Dr. that will be the company's new home.
The firm, formerly located in a 5,000-sf facility in Mesa, signed the five-year deal with an option to purchase the building from owner, the Shidler Group of San Diego, he added.
The single-story, stand-alone building with yard space and a truck dock in the heart of the Tempe industrial park was exactly what the firm was looking for, Klees said. "Once they found it, they jumped right in," he noted, adding the deal closed within 30 days.
Klees represented the building owner in the transaction. Kenneth McQueen of Insignia/ESG brokered the terms for Aire Care.
